The Trump Tower, Bedminster, and his children's homes are likely to contain copies of top-secret documents, according to Michael Cohen

Cohen believes Trump may have copies of the classified documents the FBI seized from Mar-a-Lago stashed elsewhere

A recent court filing by the Department of Justice prompted Cohen to react on Twitter

Cohen was referring to Allen Weisselberg, the Trump Organization's former CFO, who admitted to orchestrating a payroll tax-dodging scheme

On August 8, the FBI seized 11 sets of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, including some marked "top secret" and nuclear weapons-related files

The DOJ is investigating whether Trump broke any of three federal laws, including the Espionage Act, according to the search warrant

The exclusive resort was often referred to as "the winter White House" under Trump's presidency.

For a decade, Cohen represented Trump and was a close confidant. During 2018, he was searched at home and at work

The documents might have been stashed in Trump's New York and Bedminster homes, Cohen said.

According to him, Trump probably kept the classified documents as a bargaining chip.
