A few weeks ago, a new feature was added to the beta version of WhatsApp for Android that makes messages disappear when you read them. According to a new report from WABetaInfo, the good news for iOS users is that the beta version of this feature has arrived on iOS as well.
So, if you have signed up for the beta version of WhatsApp for iOS, you can try this. For those who are not familiar with it, the current WhatsApp disappearing messages feature deletes messages after 7 days. However, for those who prefer a shorter period of time, this is not the case.
So, with this feature, customers can make their photos and videos disappear from the chat when they are opened. This is similar to what Snapchat does, and it may work better for more granular material. However, WhatsApp warns that someone else could take a screenshot or record your content if you don’t, making this way of sending sensitive messages extremely personal.
In other words, there’s no way to know, outside of TestFlight, when to expect an official launch.

“Missing WhatsApp Messages”
The company has launched the “Missing WhatsApp Messages” feature for Android users, and it will soon be available for iOS users as well. According to a report by WABeatInfo, WhatsApp has started rolling out the Disappearing Messages feature to beta customers on iOS, which is enough to evaluate future features.
Disappearing WhatsApp Messages is available in beta for iOS users, but it is safe to say that the feature will soon be available for other users as well. No specific timeline has been revealed, but customers using the WhatsApp app on iPhone will get the feature in the coming weeks.
The new message display feature will be available for iOS beta users in stages. If you are using the iOS beta, the new version should arrive soon and will include the most anticipated disappearing messages feature.
If you haven’t received it yet, contact your app provider and swap your app for the same. First of all, make sure you have connected your phone to a secure WIFI connection.

Missing WhatsApp messages. How it works.
Actually, the Missing Messages feature is not only for text. This feature is effective for multimedia messages such as movies, images and audio messages. This feature is basically similar to the missing Instagram posts, which has been around for a while.
The difference between the Instagram and WhatsApp feature is that on Instagram, you can see the text content, photos and videos, while on WhatsApp, disappearing posts are then deleted. The text content will be deleted/disappeared within 7 days of sending it.
WhatsApp options for the future
WhatsApp plans to introduce a number of new options in the coming months. FB has confirmed that it is developing a multi-device feature that could solve one of the main problems faced by users of the messaging app.
WhatsApp is currently working on a multi-device feature that is expected to be launched soon, first in beta and then for everyone. The multi-device feature will first be available for WhatsApp web and desktop users, and then for users of the mobile app. Initially, the feature will allow hyperlinks between four devices simultaneously.
